2010 Tournament Trail…
Tournament No. 1
Big Bend Bassmasters held their first tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, September 5th, 2009 on the Hannibal Pool. Fourteen club members launched at the Powahatten Point Ramp in time for the 7 AM single file start.
Lester Marsh brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 4:00 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 6.57 lb and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 15 3/4" Largemouth Bass that tipped the scales at 2.04 lb.
Randy Norris captured Second Place with another five bass limit that weighed in at 5.16 lb.
Dick Smith took Third Place with three bass that gave him a total weight of 3.14 lb.
Tournament No. 02
Big Bend Bassmasters held their second tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, September 19th, 2009 on the Pike Island Pool. Eleven club members launched at the Rayland Ramp for a 7:00 A.M. single file start.
Roy Headley brought three bass to the scales at the 4:00 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 3.91 lb. and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 15 3/4" Smallmouth Bass that tipped the scales at 1.83 lb.
Ryan Harmon captured Second Place with four bass that weighed in at 3.90 lb.
Rick Vincent took Third Place with three bass that gave him a total weight of 3.67 lb.
Tournament No. 3
Big Bend Bassmasters held their third tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, October 10th, 2009 at Summersville Lake. Twelve club members launched at the Long Point Ramp in time for the 7:30 AM single file start.
Ryan Harmon brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 4:30 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 8.30 lb., and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 16" Largemouth Bass that tipped the scales at 2.01 lb.
Randy Norris captured Second Place with another five bass limit that weighed in at 5.39 lb.
Rick Vincent took Third Place with yet another five bass limit that gave him a total weight of 5.16 lb.
Tournament No. 4
Big Bend Bassmasters held their fourth tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, October 24th, 2009 on the Racine Pool. Fifteen club members launched at the Ravenswood Ramp for Tournament #4 at 8:00 A.M.
for a single file start.
Roy Headley brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 5:00 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 6.96 lb. Randy Norris captured Second Place with another five bass limit that weighed in at 6.48 lb.
Tim Rhodes took Third Place with yet another five bass limit that gave him a total weight of 6.17 lb.
Ryan Harmon captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 17" Smallmouth Bass that tipped the scales at 2.84 lb.
Tournament No. 5
Big Bend Bassmasters held their fifth tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, April 10th, 2010 at Sutton Lake. Fifteen club members launched at the Bee Run Ramp for Tournament #5 at 7:00 A.M. for a single file start.
Dale Taylor brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 4:00 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 7.06 lb.
Randy Norris took Second Place with three bass that weighed in at 4.75 lb.,
and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 15 1/2" Largemouth Bass that tipped the scales at 2.00 lb. even.
Jerry Spradling captured Third Place with three bass that gave him a total weight of 2.88 lb.
Tournament No. 6
Big Bend Bassmasters held their sixth tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at Summersville Lake. Fifteen club members launched at the Battle Run Ramp
for Tournament #6 at 7:30 A.M. for a single file start.
Ryan Harmon brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 4:30 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 5.92 lb.
Roy Headley captured Second Place with another five bass limit that weighed in at 5.81 lb.
Tommy Goodson took Third Place with yet another five bass limit that gave him a total weight of 5.33 lb.
Rick Vincent captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 15 1/4" Smallmouth Bass that tipped the scales at 1.83 lb.
There were seven limits caught during this tournament.
Tournament No. 7
Big Bend Bassmasters held their seventh tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday,
May 8th, 2010 at Summersville Lake. Sixteen club members launched at the Battle Run Ramp for
Tournament #7 at 7:00 A.M. for a single file start.
Rick Vincent brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 4:00 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 7.22 lb. Randy Norris captured Second Place with another five bass limit that weighed in at 6.54 lb.,
and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 15 1/2" Largemouth Bass that tipped the scales at 1.74 lb.
Roy Headley took Third Place with yet another five bass limit that gave him a total weight of 5.69 lb.
There were another seven limits caught during this tournament.
Tournament No. 8
Big Bend Bassmasters held their eighth tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 at Summersville Lake. Twelve club members launched at the Long Point Ramp for
Tournament #8 at 6:30 A.M. for a single file start.
Adam Leachman brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 3:30 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place
with a weight of 6.22 lb.*, and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 15 1/2" Largemouth Bass
that tipped the scales at 1.74 lb.
Randy Norris captured Second Place with another five bass limit that weighed in at 4.63 lb.
Roy Headley took Third Place with four bass that gave him a total weight of 3.13 lb.
Tournament No. 9
Big Bend Bassmasters held their ninth tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, June 5th, 2010 on the Belleville Pool. Fifteen club members launched at the Belpre Ramp for Tournament #9 at 6:00 A.M. for a single file start.
Tim Rhodes brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 3:00 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 8.53 lb. and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 17 1/2" Largemouth Bass that tipped the scales at 2.63 lb.
Roy Headley captured Second Place with another five bass limit that weighed in at 7.90 lb.
Ryan Harmon took Third Place with yet another five bass limit that gave him a total weight of 5.67 lb.
Tournament No. 10
Big Bend Bassmasters held their tenth tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, June 19th, 2010 on the
Willow Island Pool. Twelve club members launched at the New Martinsville Ramp for
Tournament #10 at 6:00 A.M. for a single file start.
Bill Garrett brought three bass to the scales at the 3:00 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 3.60 lb.,
and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 15 1/2" Spotted Bass that tipped the scales at 1.70 lb.
Mark Lewis captured Second Place with one bass that was 13” and weighed in at 1.01 lb.
Dale Taylor took Third Place with one bass that was 13” and weighed in at 1.01 lb.
Second Place had to be decided by the luck of the flip of a coin.
Tournament No. 11
Big Bend Bassmasters held their eleventh tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail Saturday, June 26th, 2010 on the Hannibal Pool. Thirteen club members launched at the Powahatten Point Ramp for
Tournament #11 at 6:00 A.M. for a single file start.
Rick Ferrell brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 3:00 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place with a weight of 5.73 lb., and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 16" Smallmouth Bass that tipped the scales at 1.62 lb.
Mark Lewis captured Second Place with three bass that weighed in at 3.36 lb.
Dick Smith took Third Place with two bass that gave him a total weight of 2.38 lb.

Tournament No. 12
Big Bend Bassmasters held their Final Tournament of the 2010 Tournament Trail in memory of a past club member and friend Saturday, July 10th, 2010 on the Racine Pool. Sixteen club members launched at the Ravenswood Ramp for Tournament #12 at 6:00 A.M. for a single file start.
Adam Leachman brought a five bass limit to the scales at the 3:00 P.M. weigh-in to win First Place
with a weight of 9.43 lb., and also captured "Big Bass Honors" with a 18" Largemouth Bass
that tipped the scales at 3.70 lb.
Randy Norris captured Second Place with another five bass limit that weighed in at 7.26 lb.
Dennis Naylor took Third Place with four bass that gave him a total weight of 4.85 lb.

First Place…

Randy Norris capped off an outstanding year by finishing First Place in Big Bend Bassmasters 2010 “Top-Six.” Randy won seven Second Place finishes during this years trail. Tournament #1 which was held September 5th on the Hannibal Pool with a five bass limit that weighed in at 5.16 lb. Then tournament #3 which was held October 10th on Summersville Lake and had a weight of 5.39 lb. Tournament #4 which was held October 24th on the Racine Pool and had a weight of 6.48 lb. Tournament #5 which was held April 10th at Sutton Lake and had a weight of 4.75 lb. Tournament #7 which was held May 8th at Summersville Lake and had a weight of 6.54 lb. Tournament #8 which was held May 22nd at Summersville Lake and held a weight of 4.63 lb. Tournament #12 which was held on the Racine Pool
and held a weight of 7.26 lb.
Randy captured “Big Bass” Honors two times during the year in Tournament #5 with a 15 1/2” largemouth that weighed in at 2.00 lb. even, and Tournament #7 with a 15 ½” largemouth that weighed in at 1.74 lb.
Altogether, Randy brought forty four bass to the scales during Big Bend Bassmasters 2010 tournament trail for a
total weight of 50.06 lb…
(Randy Norris now holds the all time club record of catching the most bass in a club tournament trail.)
Second Place…
Ryan Harmon

Ryan Harmon came in Second Place in Big Bend Bassmasters 2010 “Top-Six.” Ryan won two First Place finishes during this years trail. Ryan won Tournament #3 which was held October 10th at Summersville Lake with a five bass limit that weighed in at 8.30 lb. Ryan also won Tournament #6, with 5.92 lb. at Summersville Lake on April 17th.
Ryan placed second in Tournaments #2 on the Pike Island Pool with 3.90 lb.
He also finished third place in Tournament #9 held on the Belleville Pool with a total weight of 5.67 lb. Ryan also captured “Big Bass Honors” two times this year in tournaments #3, and also tournament #4.
Ryan managed to bring thirty five bass to the scales during the 2010 tournament trail for a total weight of 43.08 lb.
Third Place…
Rick Vincent

Rick Vincent claimed the Third Place spot in Big Bend Bassmasters 2010 “Top-Six”.
Rick won one First Place finish during this years tournament trail.
Tournament #7 held May 8th at Summersville Lake with a five bass limit that weighed in at 7.22 lb.
Rick also finished Third Place in tournament #2 on the Pike Island Pool, and also tournament #3 at Summersville Lake.
Rick also captured “Big Bass Honors” at tournament #6 with a 15 1/2” Smallmouth that weighed in at 1.83 lb. Rick brought thirty five bass to the scales during the 2010 tournament trail for a total weight of 38.79 lb.
Fourth Place…
Roy Headley

Roy Headley nailed down the Fourth Place spot in Big Bend Bassmasters 2010 “Top Six. Roy took First Place in two tournaments held this year. Roy came in first place in tournament #2 held September 19th on the Pike Island Pool with three bass that weighed 3.91 lb. and also tournament #4 held on the Racine Pool with a weight of 6.96 Roy also had two Second Place finishes. Those tournaments were #6 at Summersville Lake with 5.81 lb., and tournament #9 on the Belleville Pool with a weight of 7.90 lb.
Roy captured two Third Place finishes for tournament #7, and #8 of which both were at Summersville Lake.
Roy won “Big Bass Honors” in tournaments #2 on the Pike Island Pool with a15 ¾” Smallmouth bass
with a weight of 1.83 lb.
Altogether, Roy brought thirty two bass to the weigh-in scales during the 2010 Tournament Trail for a
total weight of 38.74 lb.
Fifth Place…
Adam Leachman

Adam Leachman finished in Fifth Place this year in Big Bend Bassmasters 2010 “Top-Six.”
Adam had two First Place finishes during the year. He finished first in tournament #8 which was held May 22nd at Summersville Lake with a five bass limit that weighed in at 6.22 lb.
He took first place at tournament #12 which was held July 10th on the Racine Pool during the
“Allen Owens Memorial Tournament” with a five bass limit that weighed 9.43 lb.
Adam captured “Big Bass Honors” at both of these tournaments with a 15½” largemouth weighing 1.74 lb.,
and an 18” largemouth weighing 3.70 lb.
Adam brought thirty bass to the scales during the 2010 Tournament Trail for a total weight of 36.77 lb.
Sixth Place…
Tommy Goodson

Tommy Goodson finished in Sixth Place in Big Bend Bassmasters 2010 “Top-Six.”
Tommy took Third Place in tournament #6 with a five bass limit at Summersville Lake with a weight of 5.33 lb.
Tommy managed to bring twenty seven bass to the scales during 2010 Tournament Trail for a total weight of 28.55 lb.
